Recycle Now With Busta - Investigate Plastics Recycling Pack (5-7 Years)
Recycle Now with Busta is a series of 6 resources for 5-7 years old and 7-11 years old. Resources can be delivered as a series of standalone lessons or as part of a themed project for the summer term. Investigate Plastic Recycling for ages 5-7 years will help pupils develop their understanding of the benefits of plastic recycling, how to use the 'recycling locator' and their awareness of the potential loss of resources if items are not recycled and what that means. A waste audit activity is included, plus eco-team activity ideas.
Learning Outcomes
To understand why plastic use is a major problem and explore ways this can be reduced.
To further develop an understanding of recycling as it applies to plastic.
To apply mathematics skills to carry out an audit of plastic waste.
