Aim

Wastebuster has worked with WRAP since 2008, with the Wastebuster characters fronting the Recycle now Schools programme. The ‘Recycle Now with Busta’ education resources aimed to inform, engage and inspire children in primary schools to reduce waste and recycle, and carry their learning from the classroom, onto campus and beyond the school gates.

Objective

To help teachers engage pupils with the popular Wastebuster characters featuring in a wide range of resources, including a library of informative videos, alongside teacher packs containing curriculum-linked classroom and eco-team activities, posters and signage.

To develop engaging homework activities to activate positive change in the home.

To develop action-focused campaigns to encourage schools to use the resources and engage households.
